I had a lovely midweek escape at Geneva on the Lake hotel. The Sweetheart Package was such a great deal, including dinner and breakfast for two, plus a nice bottle of local wine. I appreciated the free room upgrade to a spacious suite with beautiful decor, although the place has a historical vibe that's a bit dated in parts. The dining experience was delightful with a charming atmosphere, but some might find the restaurant prices high compared to local options. Overall, it’s a unique destination that offers a great value for a special getaway.

I had a stay at Geneva on the Lake hotel that was mostly enjoyable, thanks to its stunning location and serene atmosphere. The scenic beauty truly shines, but the quality of service and room upkeep fell short of my expectations. While the dining experience was charming, there were some disorganization issues. Overall, it’s a lovely place for a peaceful retreat, but it could use a bit of improvement to match its picturesque setting.

The hotel has a stunning setting with beautiful views of the lake and lovely gardens, making it a picturesque getaway. However, the quality of service did not meet expectations for the price we paid, and the facilities could use some updating. The dining experience was also less enjoyable than we hoped, with disorganized breakfast service and mediocre food options.

Rooms
6.0
The room we stayed in felt dated with decor that needs refreshing, and while it was clean, the air conditioning and fridge were quite loud at night.
Service

Service was friendly but disorganized, leading to some frustrations, especially when we sought room service and were told it wasn't available.
Location

The hotel's location is remarkable, surrounded by scenic views of the lake and proximity to wineries, which adds a lot of value to the stay.
Dining
5.0
Dining left much to be desired; the breakfast service was chaotic and the food was mediocre, not living up to the hotel's luxury promise.
Facilities

The facilities, while clean and functional, are in need of serious updates to match the higher price point.

The breakfast was initially disappointing, but improved significantly by Sunday. While the rooms were charming and spacious, a few elements could use a touch of improvement. Overall, we had a great time soaking in the beauty of the area and enjoying the serene atmosphere.
